Fill out United Kingdom tourist visa application form online

Original and a copy of the current passport. Passport must valid for the whole period of your stay in the UK and with at least 1 page in your passport that’s blank on both sides for your visa.

Australian visa. Proof of status in Australia. If this visa is not a physical visa label in the current passport, please download the Australia visa from the VEVO application, or follow this link.

Hotel Reservation. Hotel booking with name and contact details.

Itinerary. Copy of round trip tickets or itinerary.

Bank Statement. Copies of bank statements in the traveler’s name showing transactions from the last six months, duly signed and stamped by the bank.

Employment Letter. Copy of a letter from your employer on business letterhead, with contact details, stating that a leave of absence has been granted, purpose and duration of the trip, and that you will be returning to your current job. If you are self-employed, include a copy of your business license and tax return. For students, please submit an official letter from your school indicating that you are in good standing and that you are registered for the upcoming semester. If you are retired please submit proof of your retirement fund.

Personal Invitation. If visiting friends or family, you must provide a letter of invitation with the contact information of the host and visitor, purpose and duration of the visit, including an acceptance of financial responsibility for the applicant, confirmation of accommodation including the address, and dated and signed by the host. You will also need to provide proof of the host's status in United Kingdom ie. copy of their United Kingdom national I.D card or passport's information page, or, if they are not a citizen of United Kingdom, copies of their United Kingdom residence permit and their national passport's information pages.

• Notarized letter of authorization. A letter of authorization signed by both parents or legal guardians. This letter should also include the name of the adult who will be responsible for the children in United Kingdom. If the minor is traveling with only one parent, custody documents or a letter of authorization from the other non-accompanying parent is required. If the Custody papers were issued by a Court, then those papers have already been legalized..

If you’re under 18 years old when you apply, your long-term visit visa will only be valid for up to 6 months after you turn 18.
You’ll also need to provide a certified translation of any documents that aren’t in English or Welsh.
