Passport: It should contain at least two blank pages in order to be able to affix the Croatia visa sticker. Check the validity of your passport before you apply, since it must be valid for at least 3 months beyond the date you exit Croatia (Schengen territory). It must be no older than 10 years, as well.

Passport-type photograph: Please provide one recent (not older than 6 months) colour photograph, meeting the following requirements: Taken against a plain light (white or off-white) background so that features are distinguishable and contrast against the background; Clear quality and with the face in focus; Full face: non-smiling, no sunglasses, no hat/cap or any head covering, unless these are worn due to his/her religious belief or ethnic background.

Previous Visa. Scanned copies of any previous visas for the country which have been issued to the applicant (if applicable).

Covering letter. A cover letter in which you explain why you wish to visit Croatia and you give further details on your trip.

Itinerary. Round-trip flight itinerary, containing the dates and flight numbers specifying entry and exit from Denmark (Schengen area).

Proof of accommodation. A document that shows where you will stay in Denmark. I.e. Hotel reservation for the whole duration of the intended stay in Denmark.

Proof of civil status. This could be a marriage certificate, birth certificate of children, death certificate of spouse, etc.

Proof of sufficient funds. For the period of stay in Denmark. According to the Denmark Immigration Office, a traveller has to attest possessing €95 per day if staying in a hotel and €45 when planning to get accommodated by cheaper means.

Travel insurance. You are required to submit a document which confirms that you have purchased travel insurance for Denmark and the whole territory of Schengen, with a minimum €30,000 coverage for medical emergencies, and repatriation in case of death.

Proof of employment. Additionally, you will need to provide the embassy/consulate with documents that prove you meet Croatia visa requirements based on your employment status:
(1) If employed:

– Employment contract
– Current bank statement of the latest 6 months
– Leave permission from the employer
– Income Tax Return (ITR) form or Certificate of Income Tax deducted at the source of salary.

(2) If self-employed:

– A copy of your business license
– Company bank statement of the latest 6 months
– Income Tax Return (ITR).

(3) If a student:

– Proof of enrolment
– No-objection certificate from school or university
– Advertisements.

(4) If retired:

– Pension statement of the latest 6 months.

Visa applications should be submitted for a maximum of 6 months, and no later than 15 days, before the trip.
